I climbed to the top of 3 different peaks today!
Wow.............
Fooling around after the climb up - vortex was full of water today so we couldn't go down and try climbing back out.

Today was a tough day. Everyone around here was dragging their butts for some reason?
My hiking group went to Camelback today (same as last tuesday) but this time i'm with the intermediate fast groups - so we had a longer hike with lots of optional things to climb and trails to go on - I loved that. I challenged myself much more with this hike than all of last weeks hikes. I even wacked a cactus with my foot and a needle went through my shoe and into my foot - ouch - i got it out and all seems fine!
After breakfast, i had stretch - i didn't want to stretch, so I joined another group in the pool to get an extra workout. It's nice being in week 2 - you can change your schedule up! After that we had a lecture - "Health & Wellness Lifestyle" - it was a great lecture - Comparing diet and liefestyle what does "DIEt start with and what does LIFEstyle start with?" cool ....... and true
After lunch we had open gym - i was going to bike but I felt hot - so i chose the gym. I did some weights and got bored and unmotivated, so i jumped on the treadmill and got a good workout in.
Then we had Total Body Toning - it was hard - they filmed Michael quite a bit during this workout - so there was no taking it easy - I had to look good fort he cameras as he was beside me. Then Pool intervals - i worked hard and then cardio intervals - I pushed myself in there too - I was soaked coming out of it.
Dinner was good. A few of us ate outside. A few people were going to watch Tony Robbins new show in the aerobics room at 8, but I chose to hang out in my room in the A/C and start working on the Biggest Loser experience & Weight Loss Presentation that I will do when I get home.
Today I only burned 2640 calories - almost 1000 less than yesterday - but that's ok. Day by day - we are hiking up "Saddle" tomorrow - it's supposed to be a difficult hike - so will probably burn more calories hiking.
Daily Challenge: We were asked today what our purpose for being here was? If it was to lose a certain # of lbs - that is not good - that number will control you.
What is your reason for wanting to live a healthier lifestyle?
Think about that and determine what obstacles are in the way of acheiving this? Eliminate the words "Can't" and "Have To" - stop thinking of things as "Good or bad" - you have choices - choose what is "Working" for you and if something is "not Working for you" try to change it and finally use "Positive Reinforcements" - Your brain (mental) and your body (physical) need positive reinforceents to create healthy habits!
Have an awesome day tomorrow. I should have lots of awesome pictures tomorrow, I hear that the view is worth the climb! We'll i'm off for some R&R in the hot tub!
